He also deals with policy formulation for the sugar and edible oil sectors. In the past, he has served as Agriculture Production Commissioner and Secretary of Departments such as Home, Industries, General Administration and Agriculture in the State Government of Odisha. He has rich experience of serving in State PSUs such as Odisha Mining Corporation, Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation and Industrial Promotion and Investment Corporation. Mr. Chopra also served as Joint Director in LBSNAA, Mussoorie, closely involved with the design and delivery of mid-career training programme for officers of the Indian Administrative Service. He holds an M.Sc. in Urban Planning from London School of Economics, MBA from FMS Delhi University, and B.Com (H) from Shri Ram College of Commerce. He has been recipient of the National e-Governance Award for Excellence in Government Process Re-engineering for Digital Transformation in 2020 and 2021.

Her research has had substantial commercial and scientific impact across the U.S. and international sugar and allied industries. Dr. Eggleston has authored more than 260 publications, including 85 peer-reviewed journal articles and 12 refereed book chapters. An alumnus of IIT Kanpur and IIM Ahmedabad, he has worked across sectors and had successful tenures at L&T, Shaw Wallace & Company, and VAM Organics (now Jubilant) before joining Triveni. At Triveni, he has led strategy, collaborations with Fortune 100 companies, subsequent acquisitions, and the development of distilleries and cogeneration businesses within ambitious timelines and competitive costs. Under his leadership, Triveni’s Sugar Business has been transformed into a balanced, integrated operation focused on growth, operational excellence, and sustainability. He has been instrumental in establishing Triveni as one of the leaders across businesses while building competitiveness, agility and resilience and making it future ready. A strong advocate of renewables and bioenergy, he is deeply engaged in technology-driven transformation and biofuel development. He has also been instrumental in getting appropriate policies in various related sectors, such as tariffs for Cogen plants, and policies related to Ethanol and SAF, among others. Mr Sinha has been a Distinguished Speaker at numerous conferences and seminars and has been conferred with a number of awards such as Business Excellence Award, Life Time Achievement Award, The Most Valued CEO “Transforming Tomorrow” etc. He plays an active role in industry associations, serving on CII’s National Committees on Bioenergy and Agriculture, currently Leads the “Current Biofuels” and has previously been Chair of Ethanol, Lead for CBG, a member of ISMA’s Committee, and Immediate Past President of the Uttar Pradesh Sugar Mills Association.
